The project

When fertilising with nitrogen, parts of the N is converted to the greenhouse gas nitrous oxide (N2O), which the plants cannot use. NMBU researches effective methods to keep the nitrogen in the soil. The autonomous robot Adigo makes it possible to radically streamline field experiments where the objective is to determine the amount of N2O emitted under various conditions.
